Nile Safari Lodge was founded in Uganda to offer an exclusive and sustainable luxury experience along the banks of the Nile. Today, we are renowned for redefining wilderness hospitality, providing unparalleled comfort while immersing guests in the beauty of Murchison Falls National Park. Select to view them. ### 1994 Geo Lodges positioned Nile Safari Lodge as one of Uganda’s first eco-lodges, blending comfort with nature to create a distinctive hospitality experience. 2. ### December 2017 Novam Ltd took over the existing camp to familiarize themselves with the hospitality industry and the lodge’s operations. 3. 2 photographs. Select to view them. ### January 1, 2018 Ownership and management transitioned to NOVAM Ltd, a family-run company aimed to revamp the lodge to provide a unique and luxurious accommodation experience. 4. 3 photographs. Select to view them. ### October 2018 – 2019 Under the guidance of Localworks, the lodge underwent a full renovation focusing on eco-friendly architecture. The design featured grass-thatched roofs and open structures to maximise airflow and provide guests with immersive views of the surrounding wilderness. 5. 10 photographs. Select to view them. ### September 13, 2019 The transformed Nile Safari Lodge officially reopened its doors, offering luxurious accommodations including Deluxe Bandas, an Exclusive Banda, and a Family Villa—all designed with sustainability in mind. 6. ### 2020 – 2021 Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and an Ebola outbreak in Uganda, the lodge maintained operations, reinforcing its commitment to eco-friendly practices and the conservation of Uganda’s natural heritage. 7. ### August 2021 Nile Safari Lodge became a proud member of Beyond Green, joining a global community of sustainable travel leaders. 8. ### 2021 Recognized with Tripadvisor’s 2021 Travelers’ Choice Award, Nile Safari Lodge gained acclaim for world-class hospitality and exceptional guest experiences in the heart of the wild. 9. 2 photographs.
