High marks for this really nice hotel
The hotel is wonderful and the service was superb. We stayed 3 nights in the Asili Banda which is delightful. The room is spacious and comfortable and is perched on a bank above the Victoria Nile. There is a terrace where you may sit outside and enjoy the river which is much larger than I imagined. The room has a modern bathroom with a fancy tub and nice shower.
While we were at the lodge, the 2 young women who manage the lodge on behalf of their family-owner were there. Very sharp and pleasant. The food was very food and Allan, our server, took great care of us during our stay.
I highly recommend the lodge and Murchison Falls NP. The falls were fantastic as a good rainy season was pushing vast quantities of water over the falls. We did 2 boat trips on the river from the lodge, one up to the falls, and the other down river to Lake Albert. Highly recommend both. The birds are fantastic and you will also see elephants, crocs and hippos. We pretty much had the river to ourselves making it magical.
