Meet your Banda
A banda is a spacious, traditionally inspired cottage designed for privacy and comfort. At Nile Safari Lodge, our bandas combine natural materials and distinctive thatched architecture with elegant interiors, generous living spaces and private decks overlooking the surrounding landscape. Each offers a secluded retreat where you can unwind in comfort after a day of safari adventures. Your banda is your window onto some of the world’s most spectacular scenery.
The room
A king bed under a generous net, a day bed and a wide seating area beneath the thatch.
The deck
A swing chair, deck chairs and the river below. Showers indoors and out.
A pool of your own
The Exclusive Banda is secluded from every other room, with a plunge pool above the river.

Deluxe Banda
A king bed, a freestanding bathtub and a deck above the Nile. Six of the lodge's eight bandas.
Exclusive Banda
A plunge pool, a star bed and a candlelit dinner on the riverbank. Secluded from every other room.
Family Villa
Two master bedrooms, a loft, a private pool and a campfire. Room for four adults and four children.

- By 10:00. Late check-out until 18:00 is charged at 50% of the room rate.

- Under 5 stay free when sharing with full-paying adults (maximum two). Ages 5–15 sharing with adults pay a reduced rate.
