Chimpanzee Trekking
Budongo is the largest mahogany forest in East Africa and home to the largest number of chimpanzees in Uganda.
Uganda has a modest population of about five thousand chimpanzees, spread across its forests and parks. Budongo lies 61 km from the lodge.
Choose a standard trek, or the habituation experience: two to three hours with a chimpanzee group that is still becoming used to people.
