Amazing place. We shall keep the memories of our stay at Nile Safari Lodge in the family villa Dunia. The staff are awesome. Best hospitality ever. Prossy’s massage and body scrub were a class apart.

Literally the best lodge in Uganda. The view is amazing and the staff are very professional. The rooms are clean and very spacious. We stayed 4 nights there and the food was delicious. Definitely worth it.

Best hotel I’ve ever been to. Nile Safari Lodge is located inside a national park, so it’s not unusual for a little monkey family to visit you while you’re sitting in the most beautiful hotel rooms (they’re more like small houses) you will ever see.
It’s a lodge, so there aren’t many people there at the same time, meaning you can fully enjoy the beautiful hotel area all to yourself.

We were very glad to have chosen Nile Safari Lodge for our trip. It is most definitely one of the best lodges in Uganda. The food was gourmet, French service at the table, the people were terrific, and the room was very nice — right on the Victoria Nile River with a plunge pool. The plunge pool is a nice asset anywhere you’re travelling. You won’t find air conditioning in most places, so it’s nice to cool off before you climb between the sheets. Thanks to Precious and to Joseph for their personalised and professional service during the four days we spent with you.

We loved our vacation at Nile Safari Lodge.
The food, environment, staff, and customer care were unlike anything I have ever experienced. I have travelled to some beautiful destinations, but the services at Nile Safari Lodge are just excellent. 10/10.

A true benchmark in safari lodging in the region. Everything here is done right!
The stylish villas seamlessly blend into the surrounding wilderness.
The staff are not only incredibly friendly but also exceptionally well trained.
Highly recommend going on a spectacular boat safari, drifting along the Nile at sunset. Nile Safari Lodge is a rare gem — the kind of place that makes you stop and appreciate the wild in its purest form.
Many thanks to the entire team, and wishing them the very best.

Nile Safari Lodge is exquisite and located just a 5-minute drive from Murchison Park’s gates!
The team at NSL was incredibly welcoming and always had a smile on their faces. The environment was so peaceful, and the scenery picturesque!
The lodges, the activities, and the service offered were fantastic! A must for a perfect stay in Uganda — and make sure to join the sunset cruise to take in even more of nature’s beauty!

My stay at this lodge was fantastic. A special, timeless moment, with incredible animals surrounding our rooms, as well as a beautiful view of the Nile from our terrace. The food we ate there was worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. Thank you to the entire team, each one as caring and professional as the next. I will be back!

From the moment we arrived at Nile Safari Lodge in Murchison Falls, Uganda, we knew we had found something special. Its breathtaking setting along the Victoria Nile immediately captivates, offering a tranquil and immersive safari experience.
This lodge is a true hidden gem, providing every comfort and an unparalleled level of service that rivals any 5-star resort. Our beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed room along the riverside was a perfect blend of luxury and authentic safari ambiance. The staff’s warmth and attentive service were outstanding, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay.
The culinary experience was nothing short of delightful, with every meal exceeding expectations. A fantastic bonus is the lodge’s proximity to Murchison Falls National Park; a short, scenic boat ride takes you there, offering opportunities to spot wildlife en route. Nile Safari Lodge isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an essential part of the Murchison Falls adventure. Highly, highly recommended. Five stars!

Five stars doesn’t really describe Nile Safari Lodge. Everything about it goes far above and beyond any expectations. The staff, accommodations, food, and location are the best we have experienced anywhere. It is literally the best of the best.

Our stay felt like a waking dream. This lodge is a little slice of paradise, nestled among incredible birds and the most adorable little monkeys. The breathtaking view over the Nile gives way to stunning sunsets. The lodge has a charming little boat, captained by Alfred, who took us all the way to the magnificent Murchison Falls. On the way there, we spotted countless hippos, crocodiles, and an amazing variety of birds!
The lodge staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They organised a wide range of activities for us — from visiting the rhino sanctuary to reaching the top of the falls — not to mention the unforgettable animals we saw during our safari in Murchison Falls National Park.
This place is more than just a lodge. It’s a timeless escape, where every detail is designed to create a truly unique and intimate experience.
Thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable adventure.

How do I start?!
Quite simply breathtaking! We had the most amazing time as a family. The staff are incredible. Shout out to Bonny, who was our butler for our stay. The room was beautiful, the location unbeatable, and the service the best we have had in Uganda! Go visit — you won’t be disappointed!!

Stunning location and incredible hospitality!
The view of the Nile was the highlight of a lifetime for our daughter. The grounds, lodge, and our rooms were all spectacular, designed in the local style with extravagant finishes. We saw monkeys, baboons, and more birds than I can recall. Hippos could be heard, but the staff were always conscious of their location to ensure we stayed safe. Meals were all wonderful and included gluten-free options.

We just got back from celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary at Nile Safari Lodge. This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are so spacious and beautiful on the Nile River. The best part is the service and the staff. They are so friendly and welcome you every time you come back from a game drive. They made our anniversary so special! I would highly recommend if you are in this area.

High marks for this really nice hotel
The hotel is wonderful and the service was superb. We stayed 3 nights in the Asili Banda which is delightful. The room is spacious and comfortable and is perched on a bank above the Victoria Nile. There is a terrace where you may sit outside and enjoy the river which is much larger than I imagined. The room has a modern bathroom with a fancy tub and nice shower. While we were at the lodge, the 2 young women who manage the lodge on behalf of their family-owner were there. Very sharp and pleasant. The food was very food and Allan, our server, took great care of us during our stay. I highly recommend the lodge and Murchison Falls NP. The falls were fantastic as a good rainy season was pushing vast quantities of water over the falls. We did 2 boat trips on the river from the lodge, one up to the falls, and the other down river to Lake Albert. Highly recommend both. The birds are fantastic and you will also see elephants, crocs and hippos. We pretty much had the river to ourselves making it magical.

Friendly staff and great views of the NileI stayed here for 2 nights; the cottages are spacious and really big! It's an eco-friendly lodge so I struggled with having no AC to sleep but the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my requests. My butler was always there on time and made sure everything I requested was being delivered.
Tip: you can encounter insects inside the lodge; prepare accordingly.

Great vacation
Nile Safari Lodge is great hotel located in Munchison National Park. The rooms and service was very high segment. However what makes a hotel and holiday unforgettable is to have good companion, our driver and guide Joseph Tamale Lukwago is excellent guide who has comprehensive knowledge about Uganda culture, wildlife, animals, history and geography. thank you very much for this great vacation.

Wow, what a lovely place with great staff
This Lodge is one of the best we have ever stayed in, beautiful individual bungalows set above the river Nile, very private with great views. The bungalow was spacious and well equipped. The staff were attentive and met any request, including hot lemon and honey for a sore throat. The food was excellent, with pre-orders ensuring there was less food waste. The meals were always served hot. A relaxing atmosphere for our first stop in Uganda.

An amazing safari experience, WOW! We loved our stay at Nile safari lodge. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. They made us feel very special. The family Banda was so beautifully decorated with a private pool which had a perfect view of the Nile. The rooms are spacious and clean with hot water all the time. The chef was great ( one of the best) and the food was excellent. We had very friendly and informative guides on our boat cruise and game drive. The game viewing was probably the best we have encountered: Yeah, got to see a lion feasting on its kill.❤❤❤❤❤Definitely recommend visiting Nile safari lodge.

We stayed at the Nile Safari Lodge for two days and it was very hard to leave this beautiful and unique eco-lodge. The eco-lodge is situated on the nile river bank and has the perfect view looking over the Nile with the sounds of the hippos and birds surrounding this serene spot in the middle of nowhere. This eco-lodge is solar powered, getting the veggies from its own greenhouse and the water you shower in and drink is uv treated and purified water from the Nile. The lodge has a salt water pool with the best view of the Nile and the sunset. The aesthetics of the lodge are on point letting the local region being the inspiration for the architecture of the lodge. You really get the feeling of blending in with the surrounding nature and it makes a perfect place for disconnecting and self connecting. I would go back any time!

Nile Safari Lodge is without doubt one of the best if not, the best hotel/lodge I have ever stayed at. With a mother who has worked in the hotel industry for very many years including Serena, I have experienced a number of hotels and lodges in Africa and this is the best place I have stayed. From the moment we got there we were greeted by very sweet and accommodating staff who made our two nights there absolutely amazing. The lodge is located right at the Nile and this is a sustainable eco-lodge and the facilities are really well thought through and original, for the architecture to the interior. I can't wait to return again, thank you so much NSL!

We stayed at the Nile Safari Lodge for 2 nights, and it was absolutely the best hotel/lodge experience I have ever had. The surroundings are the most magical, with a view overlooking the Nile, listening to the hippos and monkeys stopping by, you truly get the feeling of blending in with the nature. It was breathtaking! You felt welcome from the moment you arrived and being taken good care of by the sweetest staff. The room was just perfect with an eye for every detail and the most beautiful interior made of local designers in local materials. The room was nice and clean during the whole stay. The food was amazing, with vegetables grown in their own greenhouse at the lodge, and serving UV purified water from the Nile, just topped the experience. I would come back to the Nile Safari Lodge any day!

From the moment my family and I arrived, we were captivated by the sweeping views of the Nile River and the warm welcome from the staff. We stayed at the family villa, which comfortably sleeps 8 guests and has a living room, a private swimming pool and terrace with fire-pit and table tennis. It’s an ideal setup for families and group of friends, I can't recommend highly enough! The lobby, dining area, and the rooms were impeccably designed, blending elegance with nature seamlessly. We loved the airy, bright spaces. The large infinity pool overlooking lush greenery and the Nile River made for a wonderful way to relax. The lodge also offers riverside massage services, which is a perfect post-game drives. Mealtimes were an absolute delight. The lodge's restaurant offered a variety of delectable dishes, expertly prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Whether it was a candlelit dinner under the stars or bush breakfast, the dining experiences were nothing short of exceptional. Nile Safari Lodge is a hidden gem that deserves all the accolades! It was a magical family escape in the most luxurious, tranquil and eco-friendly setting in Murchison Falls National Park!

No rating can do justice to this place!!! If I had to summarize my experience in 1 word I would chose "unrivalled." If I had to summarize my experience in 2 words, I'd go for "magical escape." If I had to summarize my experience in 1 sentence it would have to be: "this is the best place I have ever seen in my life, in Uganda and beyond." From our arrival to our departure, from the infinity pool to the outdoor shower, from the bush-breakfast to the bar, from the eco-friendly items and decorations to the fire pit, from the gate-keeper to the manager, everything feels like an UNRIVALLED, MAGICAL ESCAPE, in THE BEST PLACE in the world :)

The lodge was incredible & stunning in many respects -> eco-friendly, beautiful furnishing, incredible service, delicious food, extremely organised, organically fun, and all round a stunning experience. I want to thank Natalie, Josephine, and Boni for their top service. As a seasoned business traveller, this was up there or above the likes of Oberoi and Kempinski, but with an unusually personal experience. Thanks for helping organise our amazing morning safari and sunset boat trips!100% recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks

I’ve been to the new Nile Safari Lodge twice in the past few months and I can certainly say it’s the best lodge I had the chance to stay in Uganda. It is tough to find such a luxurious stay yet eco friendly and with an architecture that perfectly matches with the wild nature surrounding it. I have never see such beautiful, private and comfortable rooms and the infinite swimming pool facing the River Nile is just unforgettable. I highly recommend this lodge if you are interested in getting treated with excellent food and the most skilled masseuses. Definitely a must see if happen to travel in Murchison falls national park.
